Ringfield

Ringfield is an N-Gauge test-track layout. Its one-board design has been built to allow members to be able to quickly setup and run a large variety of 9mm track rolling stock. It feature 2 loops (one capable of handling 009 stock), and a yard that doubles as an Inglenook shunting puzzle.

As well as acting as a test-track, it is also being used by members to practice their scenery skills, with a simple urban area being built in the middle of the layout.

Modelled in n-gauge using Peco code 80 track for maximum compatibility.

Track laying, wiring, point motor fitting, and ballasting are complete and work progresses on finishing scenery and buildings.

The layout is fairly portable and has been used by the society for public demonstration at Surbiton Festival and Claygate Flower Show.
